About the Characters
THE TRUE BLUE STEAM TEAM
THOMAS
Thomas is a cheeky, fussy little engine who very often ends up getting into a scrape or two! A hard working, but sometimes mischievous friend, he runs a branch line on his home (the Island of Sodor) and helps run another on Crotoonia, which travels from Celgreb City to Inkblotia Castle! Even though he may seem like a really cheeky and fussy engine, he's a kind and positive-thinking friend who always tries to put things right. TILLIE
Tillie is a small switch engine based at Kahlville Junction, where she shunts cars and coaches in the yard, and sometimes helps the engines get a jumpstart! Though she can be a little emotional at times, she's an optimistic young engine with alot of determination, strong will, and steam power! TRACY
Tracy is the youngest of the True Blue Steam Team, who joined Crotoonia when her owners, the Dream Fleet Rail Co., chose to expand their operations into Crotoonia, having served them from the neighboring United States for a good few years. Like Tillie, she's a determined engine, but since she's still rather young, her innocent ways and naive nature can get her into trouble when trying to tackle larger jobs! However, she makes up for it for her dedication, hard work, determination, and cheerful enthusiasm. She frequently travels with Patrick the Caboose on her mail runs, where she runs from the Crotoonian Mail Depot all the way down the main line, servicing the smaller towns along it. CASEY JR
A circus locomotive hailing from Florida, Casey Jr is the wisecracker of the four steamers. As someone with plenty of experience on the rails, Casey Jr maintains a laid-back attitude with his fellow Crotoonians, though inner fears do peer out every now and then. He's a good friend to his fellow engines, and is never afraid to pay a big engine out for messing with his friends. Helpful, wisecracking, but self-aware, that's Casey Jr! |
THE FANTASYLAND AND FAIRYTALE RAILWAY TRACTION CO. LT.D
TOOTS
An elderly steamer who was restored in Crotoonia after a nasty accident many years ago, Toots is able to handle any sort of work....if it doesn't ache her in any way. Her accident in 1937 left her a little worn, so she tries to go for work that doesn't require heavy lifting! Despite this though, she is still willing to help out and can often be seen hauling or travelling around doing odd jobs around the railway! T.J.
Tom Jerry (better known as T.J.) is a heavy goods locomotive, typically working the Crotoonian National mainline. Originally owned by the Onion Pacific Railroad., T.J. is often entrusted with handling heavy goods around the railway, like iron beams, bricks, lumber, slate, and many other things! He's a hard working loco, and though he's not as big as other engines like Gordon or Montana, he's a very strong little tender engine, who you might say is "strong to the finish"! He's a very rational engine, despite his love for a friendly competition, and will take in the priority of the work when it needs to be done. MELISSA
An engine formally owned by the Sudden Pacific Railroad, Melissa raced against T.J. many years ago for a contract with the Slate Franchise. Despite the rivalry of the drivers (and Melissa being wrecked in the process), the two get along alot better nowadays then you would imagine! The two hold a friendly rivalry, often racing whenever teamed up with freight work around the railway! She's the more impulsive of the two, however, and her headstrong nature can sometimes lead to trouble! EMMA
The sensitive, wanderlust saddletank of the Crotoonian Seaside Railways, Emma loves telling her tales to younger engines before heading to the roundhouse for the night, and works hard on the lines. She doesn't talk much, but is almost always busy shunting or hauling passengers. She's the head shunter of Gridinia Bay Docks, the third largest harbour in Crotoonia, and is always busy with her driver, Luke, and his apprentice, Jim Button, organizing trains for the big engines and ships to take away! IVOR
A small Welsh tank engine, Ivor likes doing things that people like to do, making tea with water from his boiler, and being with his many friends. That said, he can be wilful and disobedient at times. He doesn't like timetables and, ironically for a tank engine, hates shunting. He is rarely seen without his cheerful and kind-hearted driver, Jones the Steam. AZUL
Azul, a little Hispanic locomotive, isn't as busy as some of the other engines, but he still works hard with his deliveries of slate from the Denverville Mining Company, and will always be ready to pull passengers and tourists along the line. While he sometimes stays with the rest of the F.&F. R.W.T. Co. Ltd. engines, he lives at Greendale Junction with the Greendale Rocket, as it's closer to his workplace at the Denverville quarry. He's especially proud of his big whistle, which he won in a big railway race back on his home railway in Mexico. THE GREENDALE ROCKET
The Greendale Rocket, known as "G.R." for short, is the headlining engine of the Greendale Light Railway branch line, which runs from Kahlville, through the forests to the small village of Greendale (where the line splits to the Denverville Quarry), all the way to the Gridinian beaches, She is small, but reliable, and always busy running passengers and mail up and down the line, with the help of her driver Ajay. She's an experienced little steamer, never hesitant to get to work, and willing to pass down what she knows about the line down to the much younger Azul, even if she can be a little TOO willing. She works the Mail Run with Percy, Tracy and Tillie, handling the mail for her line, and the Seaside Branch. JASON
Jason is kindly, rough and ready, and Jebediah's old friend. A former worker of the old Inkblotia Money and Coin Co. Factory until it closed down in the 1930's, he's now working at the Din. Y. Dee Gold Mine Transfer Yard on the outskirts of Cliffstone with Fearless Freddie running the narrow gauge branch to and from the mine, transporting gold ore to the Gold Smelters in Rotoslopia. But he still helps his old friend Jebediah with the Milk Train, and also takes passengers, mainly through the Cliffstone branch lines. He and Freddie keep things running smoothly along these mountain tracks, However, Jason can come off as a daredevil grandpa sometimes... MONTANA
An older, safety-keen streamlined locomotive with a fine blue, orange, and yellow livery, Montana is always looking over the crew like a proud and concerned dad, always warning them "Bewa-aaa-re! Take ca-aaaa-re!". His main job is running the Fairytale Arrow, an express train running from Pinewood Island to Celgreb City to Norfolk, Virginia! TOOTLE
A little tender engine working on Thomas' Crotoonian Branch Line, Tootle is young, energetic, a little impatient, and a little inexperienced around the rail yard. He works around the line mainly hauling goods from one end of the branch to the other. He likes exploring quite a bit, but is sometimes a little unfocused on his work because of this, often causing him to go down the wrong track...sometimes, even OFF track! But he's a nice little engine with a well meaning work ethic and an adventurous spirit, and is more than willing to haul what he's given most of the time. KATY CABOOSE
Tootle's trusty caboose. who accompanies Tootle on both passenger and goods trains. Katy is much more responsible with work than Tootle, and often acts as his guide around the railways. Katy cares greatly for Tootle and doesn't like staying away from him for long, but she is willing to call him out when he does things wrong. Katy acts as a big sister to Tootle, guiding the young engine she always travels with through tough times and mistakes he must overcome. She's patient and very tolerant around everyone, even the toughest engine. Overall, she's kind, gentle, and the perfect companion for young Tootle. BIG TIM
Timothy "Big Tim" Timken is one of the longer (but short hieghted) diesels on the Crotoonian Railways, and one of the few fitted with a big booster unit! Back in the 50's, Big Tim was the talk of the railyards and workshops in America! His revolutionary roller bearings, that prevented "Kid Friction" from creating a hot box, were a big help to mending problems with the rail cars and engines! Nowadays, they don't seem as special, but Big Tim doesn't mind nor seem too conceited about it. He's just happy to roll along his fine little rails, hauling loads of freight up and down the line. He's still got hints of the over-excitement and jovial attitude from his young days, but he's still a hard worker, and will be on hand the keep the freight of Crotoonia running on time no matter WHAT. SIR REGINALD
A very fast steam engine originating from France, Sir Reginald is the express engine between Gridinia Bay Junction and Celgreb Bay Harbour. He's a little snooty at times, but is far more polite than Spencer and Farnsworth! He's helpful, very quick to the point, and is willing to do freight runs...a job other express engines are known to hate! SASHA
Originally worked on a branch line far away from Crotoonia in a place near Russia called Daisyland, Sasha is very fond of the lush and green Crotoonian countryside. She is a passionate lover of nature and will always stop by the forest-side junctions and parks when she gets the chance. Unfortunately, her passion for nature will distract her a little bit too much, and will make her very late with her passengers going from the Celgreb Bay to Gridinia Bay Junction! However, she will try his best to keep focused and keep working, but will always use her breaks to stop by the forests and see her friends that live there. HUEY
An engine built at the same works as Azul (and also a competitor in the same race that Azul won his whistle), Huey is a little older, but equally excitable about racing along the tracks. He runs along the mainline to the junction to the Logging Camp across Staller's Creek Valley (which the Greendale Rocket and Azul's branches run through) high in Cliffstone Mountain, bringing supplies and equipment to the camp, and logs to the Freight Yards and Harbours whenever the Logging Locos can't. He's not as strong as other engines along the mainline, but he still works hard, even though he'll go a little "off track" and race when offered the chance by other engines. BONNIE
Head engine (and only engine) of the "Toon Train Branch" from the town of Inkblotia to the Gridinian Beaches, Bonnie is sort of an "every engine" with her special set of rolling stock. One minute she's the milk train between the villages, the next, she's taking carriages to the Inkblotia Castle grounds, the next she's at the coaling plant with Logan and Bertram, the list goes on. Bonnie, like Tootle, is still rather new, but she loves running her little line, passing by the big watermill and pulling her little trains along the line. She often stops along the Seaside Branch to help out from time to time, and she's best friends with Oliver and Duck, who loves learning about their GWR days...even if she's quite the motor mouth! JOHNNY
The trustworthy engine of the famous "Brave Engineer" of the Old Western Line on the neighboring railway far from Crotoonia, Casey Jones and Johnny had been caught in a nasty accident when taking the mail that was exactly eight hours late. However, after the accident, Johnny was brought to the Works in Crotoonia shortly after his accident to be rebuilt, and Casey Jones made it out a little beat up. Nowadays, he runs the Mainline and Mainland run for the Crotoonian Mail Co., Although Casey is known to try and take risks that Johnny would be hesitant of after his dreadful accident! Regardless, Johnny is very kind hearted, and works his hardest through rain or shine with the Crotoonian Mail! JEBEDIAH
Old and wise, Jebediah would love to help out other engines with their bigger jobs. But his chug "just ain't what it used to be!" And going over the steeper lines is too much for him these days. Despite this, he always works hard pulling the milk trains down the Branch Lines of Crotoonia, making sure the towns get fresh milk from the local farms in the morning. He can be rather tired in the morning, and tends to snore quite a bit in the Kahlville roundhouse! He loves a good chat with Old Puffer Pete and Toby, and loves to pass down his immense knowledge of Crotoonian lines, old and new, running and closed, to the younger engines. GEORGIA
A joyful, optimistic and ready-to-go steam engine, Georgia is one of Tillie's best friends from Kahlville Junction. She tries to assist as much as she can in the yard....if her "chug-along" would let her! Unfortunately, she suffers the effects of a faulty part every once in a while, and the other engines often have to fill in for her! However, she still tries to keep positive and optimistic with every situation, and will often try to give as much advice as she can to the engine helping her out. She sometimes runs a special train called the "Birthday Train" (a special mixed train for carrying passengers, mail, and special goods) from Kahlville to Celgreb City. FARNSWORTH
The local train between Kahlville and Celgreb City, Farnsworth is easily described as "too big for his wheels", thinking that he should ONLY pull coaches and passenger, and nothing else. He also thinks he shouldn't get up so early, claiming it's bad for his "chug" and that he's a "refined engine". This attitude, as one would expect, is not well like among other Crotoonians, especially his shedmates in Kahlville. Just don't be around when he's seen Spencer! Or you'll be in for a bumpy ride! BIG FREIGHTER PETE
The heavy smoker of the Kahlville team (and we mean that LITERALLY), Big Freighter Pete takes charge of the heavier goods from the Junction, such as machinery that prints books and newspapers for people to read about important things! Unfortunately, he believes he should only pull high standard freight, and thinks he doesn't pull the likes of toys and fruits. However, he is a hard worker, and despite his heavy load of smoke, he always tries to keep the freight of Kahlville Junction and Crotoonia running smoothly. His main stop is at the Celgreb Freight Depot, where Old Puffer Pete and Cormac the Forklift Engine work at, shifting containers and freight around. DOC
An old, experienced steamer, Doc is usually first to arrive at an emergency after the Crotoonian Rescue Squad/Patrol arrives. He'll usually examine the engine, and give them their diagnosis, along with assisting as much as he can. Doc is wise, experienced, and ready for any kind of emergency on the rails. He resides at the Kahville Works with Mary the Works Diesel and Victor. |
DREAM FLEET RAILROAD COMPANY
BIG OLD RUSTY
The oldest of the Dream Fleet locos, Big Old Rusty is like a mentor and grandpa to young Tracy and the other Dream Fleet engines. With a ton of experience and knowledge on the railway, Rusty is often the first called in when there's a crisis. He's often entrusted with goods work on the railway, but will occasionally take passenger trains. SHELBERT
Shelbert is a a medium-sized freight engine who also works on the Dream Fleet. He's a jovial little engine usually, but sometimes stresses out a bit when he really shouldn't, leading to a bit of trouble around the yard! MINERVA
The Shiney Passenger Engine of the Dream Fleet, Minerva is very much like a spoiled teen; gossipy, loudmouth, and a little self-absorbed. Sometimes she thinks she's the smarter of the passenger engines, which at times lands her into a bit of mayhem! RODRICK
Rodrick is the often snuffy mixed-traffic diesel of the Dream Fleet, with a sliver streamlined body with smart purple and orange paint. Though he's not the brightest headlamp in the yards, he means well and works his hardest when given a job on the line. HUMPHREY
The biggest freight engine of the Dream Fleet, Humphrey is a bit loud, but has an equally big heart. He's nicknamed Tracy "Peanut Roaster", but he only does it in a friendly, teasing manner to the peppy little engine. MARY
Mary is the versatile Works Diesel for the Kahlville Works, where Victor, Kevin, and Doc work at. She's very sympathetic towards the engines she helps out, and will always be willing to lend them a wheel. She's been equipped with newer tech that allows her to be fitted with a variety of tools to her front, including a plow, a bucket, and a special grapple, usually used for laying down railroad ties for trackworks. |
CELGREB CITY FREIGHT YARD AND COACH YARDS
OLD PUFFER PETE
Old Puffer Pete is the codgerly chief engine of the Celgreb City Freight Depot, Crotoonia's largest and busiest export and import center. Though he still needs to get used to PLENTY of new names in Crotoonia (which he often bodges up with newcomers or younger engines), he's a hard working and dependable engine who often passes down his wisdom to newcomers. Just don't be around when he goes off for hours on end about "the old days"; he's been around for over 150 years! ROSIE
Rosie is the shunting engine for both the Celgreb City Freight Yards AND the Celgreb City Coach Yards. A bubbly and free-spirited tomgirl, Rosie is often busy shunting coaches or hauling freight around the two yards and the surrounding towns. Rosie is always down to do hard work and get her wheels messy. She looks up to Thomas as a role model, and is always glad to have him help out around the yards! |
CHUGGERS
OLWIN
Olwin is a kind but fussy streamlined engine. With a habit of keeping her paintwork pristine and buffers buffed to the best, she's a hard worker who sometimes has trouble getting to do dirty work, like collecting cars of sooty rock or coal from the quarries. She likes to keep right on schedule and does her best not to be late! Despite her fastidious ways, she's a very motherly and caring engine whose always ready to be there is anyone needs a buffer to cry on. |
GRIDINIA BAY CREW
PIPER
Fresh out of the "training yards", Piper, a cab forward electric-steam engine, is the most innocent out of the Crotoonians. A wide-eyed idealist, Piper sees every new day as magical and is always looking to learn new things from both young and old engines and crew mates. Working at one of Crotoonia's biggest stations may be a tough job, but Piper is always friendly and offering to help anyone who needs any assistance. Piper is also unique for being the only Crotoonian to burn vegetable oil, which makes her quite a standout from other engines, but relegates her work to mainly shunting. Piper is eager to see more of Crotoonia, but it'll take lots of vegetable oil to do it! DEVIOUS DIESEL
Contrasting Piper's wide-eyed and friendly attitude, "Devious" Diesel is cynical and often out to serve himself. A trickster and an "average shunter", Diesel is a rather oily schemer who views diesels like himself as superior and "highly modern" compared to "claptrap" steamers. Of course, his arguments fall on deaf ears today with how friendly most steam engines and diesels get along, in addition to his outdated build, but he often tries to prove others wrong with his malicious scheming. Though he does want to show he's really useful, it's his way of going about it that's rather skewed. |
CROTOONIAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
SCOOP
The main backhoe digger for the Crotoonian Construction Company, Scoop is usually the leader of the machines on the job when Bob's not around, equipped with the leadership skills to match! He's one of the most mature machines on the team, and helps the team get the jobs done on time! MUCK
Muck is the energetic self-loading dump truck of the Crotoonian Construction Company. A strong red machine with a love for getting mucky, "Muck by name, and Muck by nature!" He's friendly, though a little naughty at times, often refusing to take baths (unless he feels like it). DIZZY
A wild little cement mixer, Dizzy is always whizzing about the construction yard with her headphones, a know-it-all nature, and a mouth that's equally energetic! ROLEY
A laid-back motor-roller with a tendency to sing on the job, Roley makes sure the work's done flat while keeping cheerful and excited with his own songs. LOFTY
The nervous worrywart of the Crotoonian Construction Company, Lofty is a mobile crane with a hook-load of shyness and a scientific way of thinking. He has the distinction of being able to be fitted with various attatchments for special jobs, like a grabber claw, a wrecking ball, a deep-digger drill, and a magnet. JACK
Jack is a very friendly front loader, who started off on Sodor with the Sodor Construction Company, until the company formed with Bob's building team to form the Crotoonian Construction Company. He's brave, doesn't take any hassle, and loves his work with the whole team. However, he's so eager to please sometimes that he jumps in where he doesn't belong! ALFIE
Alfie is a small wheeled excavator who's not afraid to sink his shovel deep to get the job done! He gets along well with other machines, and doesn't mind getting mucky, to the point where the toughest jobs on the site look easy! As he likes to say, "More help means more dirt; more dirt means more fun!" OLIVER THE EXCAVATOR
Oliver is the tracked excavator of the company, who is wise and kind and keeps an eye on the other members of the Pack. He is good-mannered and hard-working and never complains about his work or gets impatient. He has the power and precision capability of moving and digging tons of earth in a single day. He likes to be a leader and treats the younger members of the Pack with respect. MAX AND MONTY
Max and Monty are the reckless twins of the company crew. These two dump trucks are mischievous and cause alot of trouble for the other machines on site. They love to race around, but often forget to follow rules, conduct, and safety regulations, leaving quite a bit of disaster in their wake! Often times, they end up scolded by Bob, Wendy or Miss Jenny, or end up doing themselves in through their failure to watch where they're going! KELLY
The eldest of the Sudrian machines, Kelly is usually put in charge of some of the more dangerous work around the construction site, such as structures and lifting heavy and dangerous loads high up. He's willing to help anybody with anything, and gets along with just about everyone! He's a slower worker who knows that certain jobs on the site are NOT to be rushed and needs to be taken with the greatest of care. BYRON
A big booming bulldozer, Byron works hard to keep things level on site. His job is to level out the ground with his big blade so that the site is nice and flat for buildings to go on. His pride for his ground clearing skills can make him a tad bit pompous and conceited at times, but he likes to be really useful. His years of experience makes him very wise, and he's always reliable and enthusiastic towards work. NED
Ned the Wheeled Steam Shovel is a bit of a "bumble-bucket" when it comes to work. He's got a big bucket and a big heart, but is a little clumsy whenever he's out on a job. Sometimes his bucket's a little TOO full, he doesn't watch where he's going, or he just ends up making a little mistake. However, he's still a valuable and irreplaceable member of the crew, as shown by the immense amounts of stone and rubble and other materials he can shift with his shovel and his kind-hearted ways. ISOBELLA
Isobella is a Sentinel Steam Lorry, an kind of old fashioned truck. She's a hard working little truck who's constantly busy shifting materials and goods about, ready to be used at the construction sites. However, she DOES care alot about her appearance, as she does not like her paint getting sooty or mucky, making her a tad temperamental at times. She's also a little cheeky at times with the other machines, especially with the younger ones. PATRICK
Patrick is the big concrete mixer of the crew, who normally works with Dizzy, who mixes up the cement that goes into his concrete mix, Two-Tonne the Cab Unit Truck, who has a special mixing trailer, and Tumbler, another cement truck in the company. Patrick knows a fair bit about different kinds of concrete, but this makes him a bit of a boastful soul, sometimes thinking concrete is the most important thing to have on a building site! Nevertheless, he's still a good soul who works hard in keeping things smooth at the site. BUSTER
Buster is a steamroller, a little like Roley, but with steam power as opposed to diesel power. The two share the same basic job though: to keep things from foundations to roadways flat! He has an admirable amount of enthusiasm about his work, always giving it his all whenever assigned a job! He's a very optimistic machine as well, often known for being a great dreamer. What he lacks in speed and imagination, he makes up for his commitment, heart, helpfulness, and pride! NELSON
Nelson is the transporter of the Crotoonian Construction Company. The job of this handy ballast tractor is to move the heavier machines in the yard over to the site where they're needed urgently. He's often a little overworked with hauling such heavy loads, but he never complains. Though he's not one to complain, he's often the first to comment when things are going wrong on the building site. Nelson is clever, wise, and intelligent, and always ready to get to work! NIGEL
Nigel is one of the newest machines in The Pack. He's a transporter like Nelson, but he can only carry some of the building materials and smaller machines, as opposed to the huge machines Nelson pulls. Nigel has a gentlemanly way of doing things around the site, often acting like a chauffeur towards the small machines he moves about, and treating everyone around him with great respect. MARY ANNE
Mary Anne is an old fashioned steam shovel; much older than Ned or Marion! Working through the Great Depression, and for some years used as the steam heating system for the Town Hall of Popperville, Mary Anne has been through quite a bit! She's always ready to dig into the job with the help of her operator Mike Mulligan, who goes on record saying "Mary Anne can dig more in one day than a hundred men can dig in a week!", a statement that was proven VERY true. PACKER
The smallest truck out of all the construction company lorries, Packer is the courier truck of the crew. He's usually placed in charge of smaller deliveries due to his size (his trailers can only carry two pallets each), although he's still capable of carrying smaller machines like Jack and Alfie. He has a lowloader trailer, a flatbed trailer, a conflat trailer with sides, and a covered trailer to carry special deliveries in. He keeps on schedule with his jobs, but often times forgets essential things in a hurry to get it done on time. GRIPPER AND GRABBER
Gripper and Grabber are the two best of friends, and among the BIGGEST machines on the whole crew; even bigger than Nelson's lowloader can carry! Both have the same frames and body and livery colors, but different arms and extra abilities; Gripper is a tracked crane with a winch on his front, while Grabber is a tracked excavator with a double-bucket shovel and a bulldozing blade on his front! They work their hardest and can get work done very fast, but sometimes come off as unfocused, mostly around new locations. But the two can work as hard (but not quite as fast) as Mary Anne, and are an invaluable team on the crew! |
CROTOONIAN FIRE AND RESCUE SQUAD
CALLEY
Calley is a brave rescue engine who serves as the right-hand "chugger" to Jackman, Chief's Engine to the Crotoonian Fire and Rescue Squad. Brave, motherly, and always out to help others, Calley is always encouraging other engines to do their best, and never to put themselves down whenever things go awry. Calley is often placed in charge of special details when rescues aren't about, such as delivering emergency supplies to stations or shunting equipment in the HQ's Yards. |
CLIFFSTONE CENTRE QUARRY
SPEEDY MCALLISTER
Speedy Mcallister is the tough, no-nonsense streamliner in charge of Cliffstone Centre Quarry, Crotoonia's largest and most active quarry. He's a bit more blunt and gruff compared to the other engines, and does prefer industrial work over leisurely jobs like passengers or tours, but no matter what job he has, he always ensures he does it to the best of his ability and is more than happy to help another engine in need! Don't let his name or streamlining fool you though; he's one of the slower of the Crotoonian engines! But when you think things through like Speedy does, slower can be better! BILL AND BEN
Bill and Ben are the mischievous twins of the Cliffstone Centre Quarry crew! The two little engines, built to be low-slung, help take care of the rougher work in the busy quarry yards, like shunting or collecting cars from the mineshafts of clay and slate or hauling smaller trains between the quarry and the harbours. The two have great fun teasing the other engines and playing tricks on them, and do tend to squabble with one another, but they're hard workers deep down at heart...they just have a bit of a troublesome way of having fun! TIMOTHY
Timothy is a little oil-burning shunting engine based at Cliffstone Centre Quarry...and by little, we do mean little! He's smaller than Bill and Ben, but a bit bigger than Tracy. Timothy is friendly, strong-willed, and as helpful as can be! He is, however, a bit naive and gullible, so is prone to getting tricks played on by Bill and Ben. However, he just passes them off as them playing games, and just gets on with his work. Though he spends most of his time shunting in the yard, he does take on special jobs every now and again, like collecting cars from Baseline Quarry or hauling rock to the Docks for shipping to the Mainland, the US, and beyond! |
DUCKEYCHEV SCRAPYARDS
DIESEL 10
The scrap diesel of the Duckeychev Scrapyards, Diesel 10 is known to be a big bully. With a massive hydraulic claw on his roof, his main job around the scrapyard and railway is to pick up scrap and load it up, but he also handles heavy goods and demolition work. He may come off as intimidating, but will often bring about his own downfall in a goofy manner! Despite his mean exterior though, he's got a good streak deep down in his engine....but he doesn't show it off often. CERBERUS
The most twisted looking engine of the Dream Fleet Railway Company, this engine has the infamous nickname of "The Nightmare Engine". A big bully with a mean attitude, Cerberus will shove anything...LITERALLY...to get his way. A mean old schemer, this devious loco is a force not to be reckoned with. |
BLUTHSBURG STEELWORKS COMPANY
PHEOBE
Phoebe is a rough and tough tank engine that works at the Bluthsburg Steelworks. Being the biggest of the Steelworks engines, she’s typically the one placed in charge of bigger tasks, like delivering cars of steel and ingots to Bluthsburg West Yard. Phoebe doesn’t care or worry to much while working; she just wants to shunt steel and haul cars and keep nice and relaxed while working. RALPH
A bossy and diminutive diesel shunter, Ralph is the diesel in charge of the Bluthsburg Steelworks. As the Chief’s Engine of the busy facility, Ralph likes to take advantage of this by making himself seem more important than any other engine in the area. The irony is not only is he among the smallest diesels of the entire railway system, but he’s only strong enough to SHUNT wagons instead of hauling them. |
FRIENDS OF THE RAILWAY
ARIEL
Ariel (a mermaid who can turn human) is the head of the C.C.S.C (Crotoonian Coast Salvage Company) which salvages odd finds around the Crotoonian Coast. She's a born explorer and a grand adventurer with a big heart, a head-full of determination and, despite her impulsive and sometimes mischievous nature, is a loyal friend to the finish! Due to her love for exploration, Ariel tends to get herself into rather sticky situations! But with a team of friends by her side, Ariel will always make sure all turns out okay. MEGARA
Local reporter for the Crotoonian Gazette, and wife of Olympian Hero (and local sports expert) Hercules, Megara is what some Crotoonians call "The Greek Queen of Sass." With a spunky, quick-witted, tough, and independent nature (with a bit of snarkiness and outspokenness), she's ready to take any story and any situation! Meg may seem a bit tough to the average newcomer, but she's alot more caring than you'd think. Even if she doesn't always show it, she does care a great deal for her friends. HERCULES
Hercules is the definitive gentle giant. A compassionate demigod with a heart as great as his strength, Hercules might not be the brightest around, but what he lacks in brains he makes up for his heroics, sweet and selfless attitude, and bravery. After many years of adventures and rescues, Hercules has scaled back a bit. He's always ready to rescue, but now spends most of his free time either with Meg (who works with him like bread and butter), or giving lectures and training classes on gymnastics and health. SCROOGE MCDUCK
One of the great economic bigshots of the world, Scrooge McDuck (a resident of Duckburg, Calisota) often visits Crotoonia to visit friends, check on buisnesses he's financing, or to look for treasure! Despite his greedy nature, Scrooge is a good friend to most of the Crotoonians with an adventurous spirit and a kindly attitude! His Crotoonian residence is a Summer Estate located not far from Cliffstone Valley, with a mini pool for his favorite pastime...swimming in cash! |
NEW FRIENDS
SIR ALLEN FEATHERINGTON
Head of the Crotoonian United Rail Company, Sir Allen Featherington is the one who oversees how the railways are holding up; whenever trouble strikes, he's the first to call! He cares a great amount for his engines and his railways, and his family has a long and great history with the country and the development of the railways, with the intent to improve and expand the workings and how they can help others. Sir Allen may get cross with his engines from time to time for whatever trouble they cause, but he's always willing to forgive, so long as they learn to better themselves. MRS. ELLA
An experienced woman of the rails, Mrs. Carina Ella (born July 21st, 1982) began her life on the railway as a cleaner stationed at the now-defunct Gridinia Sheds. Her main job was to clean out the stacks and fireboxes of the steam engines that worked the original Kahlville and Gridinia Railway, resulting in her nickname among fellow engineers "Cinderella" from a popular production being re-released at the time. She soon grew fascinated with railway management, especially after being given the chance of driving one of the oldest engines on the line, and soon rised from stationmaster at Celgreb Central to being placed in charge of the "Fantasyland and Fairytale Railway Traction Company Ltd." in May 2005; a remarkable feat for a young woman working on the railway! STREAMER
In the modern world, technology has helped to advance the development of railways, and that's never been more true for Streamer! An experimental streamlined tank engine, Streamer is built with a powerful piston system, durable for speed and strength! Despite his grand scale advancements, however, Streamer isn't at all snooty! He's a charming fellow; the kid on the basketball team whose heart is as great as his skill. CARDEAN
Scotland-designed and American-built, Cardean is a mighty new steam engine brought on to help out with traffic between Crotoonia and the US. Built to be big and powerful, he's a rough and friendly engine, with a big and boisterous attitude. Despite his braggart attitude and readiness to jump into ANYTHING, he cares deeply for his new friends on Crotoonia, and will put his mighty strengths to the test to help them! |
